Last week Simple and Posh told everyone about Origins’ Earth Day giveaway where you bring in an empty container from your current skincare routine and they would exchange it for a full-size Checks and Balances or A Perfect World facial cleanser. I went with the Checks and Balances for combination skin and I’m really happy with the results. The recommended use is once in the morning and once at night, which is what I’ve been doing, and after each washing I feel like I don’t even need moisturizer. Broad Leaf Kelp and Wheat Protein help with controlling oil and moisturizing dry areas respectively. The scent is light and pleasant and I love the spearmint for the A.M. wakeup. The lavender helps calm the skin and me after a long day. Overall, the “Balance” in this cleanser is absolutely spot on and it’s well-worth spending the money on this wash. Since you only need to use a small amount, one tube of Checks and Balances will last you three months which comes out to be about $6 a month, an awesome deal for a premium product. Origins not only helped the Earth by recycling my old moisturizer but they gained a new customer.
