Rock Symphonies from David Garrett
Classical music has been proven to be a stress reliever and the soothing sounds are also supposed stimulate those synapses in our brain. A little Mozart and Bach will do us all some good but it can get a little lackluster after awhile. After discovering David Garrett on a PBS performance, classical music has taken on a whole new meaning. Garrett is a violinist who perfoms the works of the greats, Vivaldi, Schubert, Led Zepplin, and Michael Jackson. His new CD “Rock Symphonies” has a fun mix of the good old classical tunes like Beethoven’s 5th and the more modern stuff like “November Rain” from Guns N Roses and Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. This is Garrett’s latest release and is $10 for the CD or $3.99 for the MP3 album. Check out his earlier stuff too and you’ll never look at classical music the same again.
