After reading several articles on how triclosan is dangerous to human health, I was in search of a hand soap that didn’t contain this toxic ingredient. I stumbled upon Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Soap at our local market and thought we should try it out at home. The liquid soap is thin and made of organic oils like coconut, oil, hemp seed, and jojoba seed. Though the Dr. Bronner soap doesn’t create suds, it actually leaves your hands feeling cleaner because it’s free of the heavy, artificial moisturizers. Dry hands will really appreciate Dr. Bronner soap as it helps chapping and flaking and has Vitamin E to help the healing process. The soap comes in four scents and the Almond smells so good it’s intoxicating! For a more neutral smell for the household there is Peppermint or Baby Mild (unscented) which are great for the kitchen. The Lavender is soothing and is a must-have for the bathroom. The bottle is big and will last for quite some time. It’s on sale right now at Ulta.com so stock up on a few scents and keep the family squeaky clean.
