burts_bees_res-q_ointment It’s not often we review two products from the same company in a week but Burt’s Bees really has it going on when it comes to quality natural products that work wonders. This time we’re talking about the Doctor Burt’s Res-Q Ointment. In this tin is a modern day miracle. Not sure what it is but any boo boo you’ve got, it will be gone after applying this for a few days. The ingredients include Comfry and Allantoin which have healing and anti-inflammatory properties and Lavandin which helps the prevention of scarring. I had a nasty burn on my forearm from sticking it to the inside of the oven and this soothed the ouchie and the road to recovery was much faster than with anything I’ve used before. Amazon.com sells Doctor Burt’s Res-Q Ointment in a pack of three which is ideal because you want to have a few to put in different places like the house, first aid kit, purse, and office desk drawer.

Supergoop! SPF 30 Sunscreen Swipes

supergoop_sunscreen_wipes As parents and people on the go who are trying to protect our family’s skin from UV rays, we’re really excited about Supergoop! SPF 30 Sunscreen Swipes. We won a sample pack of Swipes in a Twitter contest and even though we already have a sunscreen we love and use everyday, I tossed a couple of Swipes in my diaper bag and a couple in the stroller pocket. On a recent trip to the beach I remembered the Swipes and broke them out. Just tear open the packet and wipe away to ward off the bad rays and sunburn. Our little one hates wearing a hat and the Swipes made applying sunscreen to the scalp so much easier and squirm time was down too because we could get the SPF on him faster than when using lotion. They’re also great for using when around sand because it’s not as sticky as others. We were out in the sun for quite awhile and only reapplied once after a dip in the ocean and we went home sunburn free. Besides being easy to use, they’re paraben-free, safe for sensitive skin, and resistant to water and sweat. Supergoop! Swipes are a bit of a splurge for the price but worth your sanity if you have kiddies who try to run away when they see the sunscreen bottle coming out.

The Fujifilm Instax Mini Film Camera is an instant film camera that’s easy to use and your procrastination problem is solved. Just point, shoot, and your credit card-sized pic pops out. The camera is small enough to fit in your pocket and the built-in flash helps produce prints of excellent quality.
